Spiritual Thoughts on Fasting
• When you begin to FAST, something shifts, not just on earth, but in heaven.
• From the moment you deny yourself food, the unseen world awakens.
• The silence of your hunger becomes a sound in the spirit.
• A cry that echoes through the throne room of God.
• It may look simple down here, an empty plate, a quiet prayer.
• But in heaven, angels rise to attention.
• The King has noticed.
• The court of heaven records your obedience as a sacrifice of fire.
• Because fasting isn’t just skipping a meal.
• It’s saying, “God, I want You more than I want bread.”
• When you do that, the very atmosphere of the unseen begins to move.
• The Holy Spirit takes your hunger like an offering
• And presents it before the Father as incense,
• A fragrance that fills the temple of Heaven.
• The Angels of the Lord—His mighty ones who do His bidding.
• Receive their assignments from the altar.
• Your fast becomes a signal, a divine frequency that Heaven responds to.
• So, understand this: when you fast, God doesn’t start Listening—He starts Releasing.
• Angels begin to war over your destiny.
• Chains that were invisible start to crack; doors that were sealed start to swing open.
• Fasting accelerates the divine.
• It places your life on God’s time.
• Now, what would take you years can happen in days.
• Fasting isn’t about starving the body; it’s about feeding the Spirit until Heaven responds.
